Replikas I call these sculptures that embody the music of Replikas...The process of the exhibition started with a sudden decision based on the feeling of mass that I got from the music, when I was listening to Replikas’s album “Zerre”.

The works reflect what I see through my ears; twelve sculptures murmuring, being spoiled, rolling, falling, dancing, inviting their viewers to play, that correspond to the twelve songs in the album. It was as if the materials I used bent themselves into shape with the music. The feelings of time, space, sound and motion that the music exudes are transformed into sculptures that you can see with your eyes, and touch with your hands.bayram candan, 2009, Istanbul.
